Paris has come up with a solution to resolve problems of smog. They’ve developed an electric-operated vehicle used as public transport through a french firm EasyMile. The vehicle known as EZ10 is small self-driving car. It is an autonomous vehicle meaning is doesn’t need a driver, only cameras, GPS, and lasers. The EZ10 self-driving car has a sitting capacity of only 12 persons. It runs with a speed of 20 KMH or 12 MPH. And it travels for short distances and predefined routes, even suited in locations like shopping malls, amusement parks, or airports.
This latest tech will undergo a 3-month trial and cover designated lane that connects Lyon and Austerlitz. It will allow free rides every week. But, as promised, the route will expand before this year ends. This invention has gained popularity in other countries. In fact, a new trial will begin in Darwin, Australia. If all goes well, this self-driving car will soon run to the streets worldwide.
