The Range Rover has come a long way since it started. At the top of the Land Rover lineup, Range Rover begins humbly and has accomplished vast growth since its creation. Representing both utility and class, Range Rover offers an exceptional go-anywhere, Land Rover. Over the decade, Range Rover worked its way to produced high-tech editions. The concept for the first Range Rover was made known in 1969 and officially introduced in 1970.
The 1970 first generation of Range Rover was the first SUV to deliver always-on four-wheel drive. The introduction of the second generation Range Rover was in 1994 with an all-new body featuring rectangular headlamps plus the direct- injection diesel engine. Monocoque construction was introduced in its third generation 2001. The world’s first all-aluminum SUV was popularized on its 2012 fourth generation. Now on its latest generation, the evolution and transformation of Range Rover are outstanding.
