The SnapPolaroid, the once king of quick photos, perished a slow death as a result of the digital-photography wave, however, it has since been raised from the dead. Polaroid’s newest development is an unusual mixture of futurism and obsolescence: An instantaneous camera that prints actual pictures, but does so without needing any ink. It catches pictures at 10 megapixels. It will save a digital version to the SD card, after which prints out a physical version on its pretty “ZINK” photo paper. The clear crystals are unseen initially, but produces vibrant colors once triggered. Once you click a photo, the printer warms the crystals to establish the picture without needing ink. The ensuing pictures are smear proof, water-resistant, and also will not rip quickly, helping to make the camera a great bet for youngsters.
