Everyone loves Smartphones. In reality, it becomes an absolute necessity in today’s information age. But it all seems to last for a few years, and they’re bound for a few wear and tear issues. The PixlPlay creates a kids camera out of the old Smartphones, a great tool to entertain kids and at the same time teach them basic photography.
Before smartphones, taking an impressive photo was a labor-intensive procedure, but now smartphones have revolutionized the way of taking pictures. It aims to upcycle technology by creating something that can motivate young kids to make use of old devices rather than throwing it out and let it sit until it’s not working.
The Pixl Toys is the startup behind the Pixlplay. Designed to fit in all standard-size Android smartphones as well as iPhones 4 to 7. Via a headphone jack or jack adapter for iPhone 7, the Pixlplay’ kid’s camera can connect to the smartphone and allows children or users to take snapshots.
