Doing some fishing these days doesn’t always have to include a rod – a thing this guy proved to be quite definitely true when he utilized his drone to catch some fish.
Fishing enthusiast Derek Klingenberg from Kansas fastened a hook & line along with float to his DJI Phantom 2 quadcopter, and piloted it over a lake near his property.
He hovered over the water for a while and waited with a ton of patience for a fish to take his bait and have itself stuck on the hook. Remarkably, the deafening sound of the quadcopter didn’t scare away the fish. And just a short time, the drone got a catch as a fish took the bait.
