Elon Musk pledged a short film about the first Falcon Heavy launch from the crew behind Westworld, and he provided. The businessman has published the video in two parts on Instagram, Falcon Heavy, and Starman. It is not a magnum opus. Nevertheless, it does a good work of showcasing SpaceX’s breakthrough in a short period, which includes Starman’s departure. Remarkably, the video involves the disappearance of the center booster — SpaceX is not claiming the launch was all good all throughout. And apparently, there is David Bowie for the soundtrack. The clips came right after Musk at the SXSW 2018 Westworld panel. He did not offer any astonishing thoughts, but he did describe why he is handling pie-in-the-sky ventures like Tesla or SpaceX.
