The Personal Mover Concept is a 5-wheeled electric vehicle developed to take a person across short ranges. Its setup measures 60 x 80 cm so large objects and supplies can be brought along for the drive.
The electric components are put into the handlebar (110 centimeters tall). The front wheels can turn 360 degrees for better maneuverability and control, while the drive wheel in the middle can twist 90 degrees to the left and right.
Owners push themselves ahead with a thumb throttle placed on the right grip and can stop with a brake installed on the left grip. The platform also offers regenerative braking that BMW claims that it operates much like that used in the BMW i3. Additionally, it has a range of 20 to 30 km per charge.
You can charge the vehicle from any regular wall socket in your workplace. It comes with LEDs and a bell for added safety as it runs around the facility at around 25 km/h. This top speed is modifiable for use in numerous situations.
